How I Built a Dynamic Gallery Page in Next JS

In this video, I walk through the logic behind building a dynamic gallery page in Next.js using a real project.

Instead of explaining theory like how dynamic routing works in Next.js, the focus is on the actual implementation, how the pages connect, and how data flows through the app.

The gallery uses a main listing page and a dynamic gallery slash id page, where each item is rendered based on its unique id. Server actions are used to fetch data from Supabase, and the page is revalidated periodically to keep content fresh.

We look at:

• The Structure – How the gallery page and dynamic route are organized
• The Logic – How params are used to fetch data for each PDF
• The Data Flow – How server actions and Supabase queries work together
• The UI Handling – Preview, download, and client-side state logic

This video is for developers who want to understand real Next.js logic instead of blindly copying code or following theory-heavy tutorials.
