Authorities are investigating a fundraising event that was put on by Melania Trump, where a portion of the proceeds went to a charity. The only problem is that the authorities say that charity doesn't actually exist, or at the very least they can't seem to find it. Former first lady Melania Trump has a charity event coming up in Florida in April. If you donate the right amount of money, you can go to a high tea, which is not as fun as it sounds, with Melania Trump in April. And of course, as she says, a portion of these proceeds, a portion of the money she raises is gonna go to her be best campaign, specifically the fostering the future, which is meant to provide computer science scholarships to young people who've been in foster care. A noble cause, right? So you pay your money to go to tea with Melania Trump and a portion of the money either goes to be best or fostering the future. She wasn't clear about that. Um, and so after this was announced, people started to look into this and say, oh, okay, she's running charitable organizations here in the state of Florida.

So they reached out to the state office that monitors charities, because if you have a charity here in the state of Florida, it has to be registered with the state, and the state has come back and said, um, those don't exist. So these charities one or the other that Melania Trump is allegedly raising money for aren't real, it would seem. They, they, they don't actually exist here in the state of Florida. So, so where is the money gonna go, Melania? Melania Trump might be raising money for charities that she knows doesn't exist because there is no record of them at all, folks. So I guess you could say that, you know, running charity scams seems to run in the Trump family, right? You know, Eric got popped a couple years ago for over charging kids with cancer and taking money from them. So why not? Why not have Melania take money from foster kids who just wanna learn computers? So here's the thing. Even if these charities did in fact exist, right, let's assume for a second that she's not, you know, swindling everybody here.

It's important to remember that she only said a portion, a portion of the money is gonna go towards these causes. So where does the rest of the money go anyway, right? Does that, does that go into your pocket, Melania? You trying to build up a nest egg in case you need to get the hell out, you know, get away from Donald. Hey, if that's the case, I'm totally okay with that. But if you're just using it to get rich, if you're using it to pay bills, like pay for the venue, pay for anything like that, you have the money to do that. You wouldn't need to take that away from kids in need. So I think there's another question there too is let's assume for a moment she's not lying about these charities existing. Why not give them a hundred percent? Because you're not even releasing the portion percentages of who is going to what. So there's a lot of questions that need to be answered here, but of course the biggest one is obviously, why are you raising money for things that very clearly don't exist?
