The top of the range Passat R-Line is described by Volkswagen as the “ultimate in style and performance” and, looking at its features and statistics, it would be hard to disagree. Naturally, this is the most expensive version of the new generation Passat you can buy. R-Line prices range from around £29k to £35k, which still seems a reasonable price when compared with similarly kitted out saloons from BMW and Audi. Externally, the R-Line benefits from bespoke body kit, panoramic sunroof, 18” alloy wheels and front fog lights.
