Kyung Wha Chung: Bach in London & New York

Following her triumphant return to the European concert stage in 2014, Kyung Wha Chung now returns to the UK for two performances – the first, at St. George’s, Bristol (6 May), and the second at The Barbican Centre, London (10 May) – before making her highly anticipated return to the US stage with a solo recital at the Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall (18 May). For these concerts, Kyung Wha performs the complete Sonatas & Partitas for unaccompanied violin by J.S. Bach – rarely played like this in one performance – following her long-awaited recording of these works released in October 2016 on Warner Classics, described by Chung as her ‘own personal Everest’.
