In this video I show how I repaired the bent filter ring on a Nikon 50mm f2 lens as well as tightening the loose focus ring.
Once in a while lenses loosen off from use and vibration, or changing temperatures and the screws come loose causing sloppy focus. In cases like this its difficult to reach infinity and close focus becasue the ring will max out before it hits the hard stops.

The trick is getting into the lens through the "hidden" access ring on the focus assembly. I basically show how to take that ring off and tighten the screw to firm up the focus.
