Poliça live from Old Granada Studios

Poliça recently released United Crushers, their third album which explores the political and personal; touching on social injustice, self-doubt and isolation, the urban decline and gentrification. Despite this darkness, there is an element of defiance. This is modern-day protest music created as a weapon to empower the oppressed. NPR called the album “a transfixing love letter.”

Poliça comprises the captivating Channy Leaneagh, bassist Chris Bierden, and dual drummers Drew Christopherson and Ben Ivascu, with producer Ryan Olson at the helm. Their hypnotic live show – with complex and forever grooving rhythms – are never to be missed, let alone in the incredible sounding and intimate studio environment of Low Four.
