Circling vultures in the Amazon
Vultures are some of the most common birds I've seen in my trips to South America--mainly the American black vulture (Coragyps atratus), which these probably are (though I did see a couple turkey vultures and yellow-headeds on this trip). Despite what the movies would have you believe, they don't circle over something they think is about to die--or if they do, I weep for just about every location I visited in Leticia, Colombia. Personally I find their circling relaxing; I hope you do to. The music is Invisible Beauty by Aakash Gandhi.
