I recently visited this incredible Hindu Temple with my boyfriend and we were mind blown! A visit to the 2nd largest temple in the world is FREE, even parking is free.

Located just over an hour outside of New York City in Robbinsville, NJ, the BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham is a massive, stunning Hindu temple complex built by thousands of volunteers using hand-carved marble from Europe. Walking onto the campus feels like stepping into another country. You’ll explore the towering white marble Mahamandir, peaceful reflective pools, and lush gardens with incredible statues. Wrap up your trip by grabbing incredible, inexpensive vegetarian street food at the on-site Shayona Café.

🚨 Quick rules to remember:
* Closed on Tuesdays!
* Dress modestly (cover shoulders and knees, or you won't be allowed in!).
* Weekend visits require a free reservation on their website.

Transportation:
