Learn a very simple and easy expression in English: ‘-ish’. In conversation, we often add ‘-ish’ to the end of a word to change its meaning. What is the difference between green and greenish? What colour is my hair? Is it brown or is it reddish, blondish, or brownish? I’ll also teach you some other ways in which the suffix ‘-ish’ appears in English.
