Pressure Vessel Design ASME Div.1 Episode 2 | How to Select Design Pressure, DT, MDMT + Datasheet
Welcome to Design Hub — this is Episode 2 of our Pressure Vessel Design Series as per ASME Section VIII Division 1.
In this episode, we build the Design Basis and the Mechanical Datasheet — the most important step before any thickness calculation. If you freeze the correct design inputs here, your shell thickness, head thickness, nozzle reinforcement, testing, and documentation all become smooth and review-ready.
