We Go Outside Too weekend

Last month, outdoor community We Go Outside Too joined us and Land and Wave for an adventure-fuelled weekend on the Jurassic Coast.

We Go Outside Too was formed by Marlon Patrice who after having tragically lost his son to knife crime last year sought comfort in the outdoors. Understanding the power of nature, Marlon set up We Go Outside Too to help the Black Community connect with the outdoors, to support their mental and physical wellbeing.

"People that come to We Go Outside Too, leave much better than when they came to us. It's just the connection, being at one with nature, finding yourself. We always get messages from people that we bring in, it goes on for weeks on how high they were from what they have experienced. It makes me feel great, and makes them feel even better. It gives them a better perspective of life."
