Lefties losing it: Drag queen ‘butchers’ John Farnham hit at Yes campaign launch
Sky News host James Macpherson reacts to a drag queen “butchering” a John Farnham hit at the ‘Yes’ campaign launch in the United Kingdom.
The event at the Australia House High Commission in London saw the drag persona Karla Bear perform a rendition of ‘You’re the Voice’ by John Farnham.
“If that doesn't convince you to vote for constitutional change, honestly, I don't know what will,” he said.
“But if this is the way the government intends on commencing public events from now on, I take back every complaint about Welcome to Country.”
Australians will cast their vote at the ballot box for the Voice referendum on October 14, which the polls suggest could be heading for defeat.
