I Taste Fire

A little ditty I composed in the midst of betrayal and tragedy. In the darkest hour, I came into contact with something within me that was pushing back against the sorrow despite myself. I guess I came into contact with the Human Spirit that burns within all of us. That unquenchable fire that binds us together when tragedy strikes. And I suddenly found my fingers clawing their way to the keys.
