We decided to celebrate our parents 37th wedding anniversary in a different way. All of us left for Bangalore and on the way we took them to White Portico hotel, Adoor. We booked and planned to stay there without telling them. They were surprised seeing a Wedding Anniversary deco suite room. We cut a cake from the restaurant of the hotel that has an awesome Sports Bar. We had Thai dishes for dinner too. As children, we love to see them happy in these ways.

ഞങ്ങളുടെ അപ്പന്റെയും അമ്മയുടെയും മുപ്പത്തിയേഴാമത്തെ വിവാഹവാർഷികം പതിവിലും വ്യത്യസ്തമായി ആഘോഷിക്കുവാൻ ഞങ്ങൾ തീരുമാനിച്ചു. ബെംഗളൂരുവിലേക്കുള്ള യാത്രയ്ക്കായി ഇറങ്ങിയ ഞങ്ങൾ, അപ്പനെയും അമ്മയെയും അറിയിക്കാതെ അടൂരിലെ വൈറ്റ് പോർട്ടിക്കോ എന്ന ഹോട്ടലിൽ റൂമെടുത്തു തങ്ങുവാനാണ് പ്ലാനിട്ടത്. വിവാഹവാർഷിക സ്പെഷ്യലായി അലങ്കരിച്ച റൂമിലെത്തിയപ്പോൾ അപ്പനും അമ്മയും അത്ഭുതപ്പെട്ടുപോയി. അടിപൊളി സ്പോർട്സ് ബാറൊക്കെയുള്ള ഹോട്ടലിലെ റെസ്റ്റോറന്റിൽ വെച്ച് കേക്ക് മുറിക്കുകയും, ഡിന്നറിനു തായ് സ്പെഷ്യൽ ഭക്ഷണങ്ങൾ കഴിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. മക്കളെന്ന നിലയിൽ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് അവരുടെ ഇത്തരത്തിലുള്ള സന്തോഷമാണ് വലുത്.
