Ginabot Cebu PUNGKO PUNGKO Style! | Secret to Crispy Chicharon Bulaklak

INGREDIENTS:
500 grams pork intestine cleaned and sliced
3 cloves garlic minced
1 small onion minced *optional
1/2 tbsp salt
1 1/2 cup water

1 cup cornstarch
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
______________________
oil for deep frying

STEPS:
1. Mix pork intestines, garlic, onions and salt into a cooking pot. Then add water.
2. Let it boil and cook for 45 minutes.
3. Remove the pork intestines from the pot and drain excess water.
4. Prepare the breading mix by mixing cornstarch, salt and pepper. NO NEED FOR EGGS! 👍🏼😊
5. Coat the pork intestines evenly. Press the coating to the pork intestine to make it stick and shake of excess breading.
6. Fill pot with cooking oil and set fire to high heat.
7. When the oil gets hot, deep fry pork intestines until golden brown.
8. Once its done, remove from pot and place it on a paper towel or cooling rack to drain excess oil.
9. Serve with vinegar, sliced onions, chili and salt.
