Captured here on the 1st of January 1991 at Costa do Marfim, Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire; Alpha Blondy aged 37 performed a concert at the Parc Des Sports Treichville to thousands of local fans. This was the time he was still working on an album Masada to be released the following year i.e. 1992. He performed three songs from the then upcoming album, Papa Bakoye (20:24), Houphouet Yako (49:33) and Sciences Sans Conscience (55:45)

Alpha Blondy a reggae singer and international recording artist whose songs are politically and socially motivated, and are mainly sung in his native language of Dioula, French and in English, though he occasionally uses other languages, for example, Arabic or Hebrew.
