BAUER Spezialtiefbau GmbH – Rehabilitation of Sylvenstein Dam

Flood protection with state-of-the-art technique: The Bavarian Sylvenstein Dam had to be retrofitted after having been in operation for more than 50 years. BAUER Spezialtiefbau GmbH, leading in subsea sealings of dams worldwide, installed a diaphragm wall of up to 70 m in depth and 180 m in length in the dam core. The works were completed in autumn 2012 according to plan and to the client's entire satisfaction.
