Many people watch comparisons between the Tamron 150-600mm G2 vs Sigma 150-600mm Sport zoom lenses, but in this video, I decided to compare the Tamron 150-600mm G2 with the Canon 600mm f/4 prime lens in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. I consider five key aspects in my comparison, namely:
1) Size & weight;
2) Durability;
3) Price;
4) Image quality; and
5) Focal-length.
At the end I pick a clear winner!

The Tamron 150-600mm G2 zoom lens only just outperforms the Canon 600mm f/4 prime lens and wins the competition 3-2. At the end of the day, it's the versatility of the lens that makes it ideal for the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.

It's important to mention that I don't particularly like the Tamron 150-600mm entry level zoom lens or it's Sigma counterpart, the Sigma 150-600mm contemporary zoom lens, because both of them are not sharp enough in my opinion.
