Easdale Tarn from Grasmere - Lake District Mountain Biking

This could be my new favourite mountain biking descent and it's a bridleway!!! Park in the layby opposite the Travellers Rest pub on the A591 outside of Grasmere. From there, head in to Grasmere and on to Easdale Road. About 1/2 mile up the road, pick up the Bridleway signpost for Easdale Tarn and simply follow the track all the way to Easdale Tarn. It's only a short there and back, it was an hour in total so perfect for an afterwork blast or dawn raid and you'll miss the bimblers, stupidly I didn't realise it was going to be that busy.. There is a lot of tech, so you'll need your wits about you on the descent. Double black for sure!
