Products in Japan for Senior Citizens

Whether you are traveling or living with a senior citizen, or if you are a senior citizen yourself, or even if you just like trying out some cool products to make your life or an elderly person's life a little easier, check out some of these goods at my neighborhood mini-mall. Japan has a lot of interesting items and some very helpful services to help make life easier. I can vouch from experience that many of these items made it much easier to take care of my Dad who had Parkinson's Disease. Now that my Mom is living with me, I'm glad I can find many items that can help her live more comfortably at the 100 yen shop.

Getting older or dealing with some of the physical changes that happen as we age doesn't have to be scary or embarrassing. I hope that you'll take advantage of the services and products they offer here in Japan, especially if you are traveling as or with a senior citizen.

I was not sponsored by any of these stores or products. The stores that I visited today were Cainz Home, Daiso 100 Yen Shop and AEON.

The rental company we used to rent wheelchairs, wheelchair ramps, portable toilets and shower chairs was Duskin:
