James Corner is Principal of Field Operations in New York, and Professor and Chair of Landscape Architecture and Urbanism at the University of Pennsylvania School of Design. A recipient of the American Academy of Arts and Letters Award and many design prizes, he is also the author of Taking Measures Across the American Landscape and the editor of Recovering Landscape: Essays in Contemporary Landscape Architecture.
