My Virtual Body: Exploring Embodiment and Body Perception with an Augmented Reality Mirror (ViTraS)

The project explores the use of state-of-the-art virtual and augmented reality (VR and AR) technologies for systems supporting therapy for eating and body image disorders. It extends an interactive application including virtual embodiment and virtual mirror with an optical see-through AR head-mounted display (HMD) to investigate its properties in terms of presence experience, embodiment, and body weight perception.
