1990 CHEVY G20 VAN HEATER CORE REPLACEMENT C10, K10, G10, G30 VANLIFE

The age old question? Buy a new van or keep my old one going? I've been on the road for 5 years in this thing. My total investment includes the cost of purchasing the van used, as well as including replacement engines and transmissions and all repairs. I did not include the cost of oil changes, tires, gas, etc because that would be about the same for anything in its class., With acquisition, and repair costs of about $7500, over 60 months, I've had this rolling hotel room that's capable of pulling my trailer, (which is my business) all over the country for an average of $125 a month. Plus now, it has a fairly new engine, and trans, and will last me another 5 years I'm sure. By the time I'm done putting maybe a second rebuilt trans in it, and some more brake work, etc, I'll have my ten year average on this vehicle down to under $100 a month. You can't do that with anything built after 2015, period.
