How To Turn Off “Ask Permission” To Download Apps on iPhone (Ask to Buy / Password Fix)

#iPhoneTips #AppStore #AskToBuy

Is your iPhone or iPad asking permission every time you try to download an app from the App Store? In this video, I’ll show you the exact settings to stop it—whether it’s happening because of Ask to Buy (Family Sharing) or because your phone is set to require a password for free downloads.

✅ Fix 1: Turn Off “Ask to Buy” (Family Sharing)

If you’re in a Family group, Ask to Buy may be enabled:
Settings → Apple ID (Your Name) → Family Sharing → Ask to Buy → OFF

✅ Fix 2: Stop App Store Password Requests (Free Downloads)

If your phone keeps asking for a password:
Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions → iTunes & App Store Purchases → Require Password → Don’t Require
Also check:
Settings → Apple ID → Media & Purchases → Password Settings → Require Password (Free Downloads) OFF

📌 Works for: iPhone / iPad (App Store permission + password prompt issue)
