Exploring the SILENT CITY - MDINA, Malta | Malta Travel Vlog

I went to a medieval town in the hear of Malta, called the Silent City!

Hi guys, in this video of On The Travel List I am bringing you on a day trip to the old capital of Malta - Mdina. 🇲🇹 Mdina has been inhabited since 700 BC and as the Maltese culture - it has been influenced by Malta's various rules like the Phoenicians, Romans and Arabs. The old town of Mdina, referred to as the Silent City of Malta, presents a mixture of Norman and Baroque architecture, which make for some spectacular views and make Mdina one open air museum. 🏰
We visited on a Monday, when everything was closed - all museums, shops, boutiques and most cafes and restaurants as well. Exploring the Silent City - Mdina, we may not have been able to see and enter all of the sites, but we did have a lovely time walking Mdina's small streets and enjoying the piece, as there were barely any people there.
