Marantz SR5003 Standby Protection Mode Reset Attempt AV Receiver Standby blinking.

Reset via holding down these three buttons for 3 seconds:
Surround Mode + Exit + Clear for 3sec

UPDATE: Decided to just tear this device down and use it for parts for projects. Only valued at $100ish sold online, not too interested in repairing this unit.

As soon as unit is plugged in the red standby light begins rapidly blinking. Reset causes relay to click and then begins to rapidly blink again indicating protection mode.
