The Reality That's There But Not There | Ying Chen Leu | TEDxYouth@AISCT
Imagine, way in the distant future, people are all wearing VR headsets, its 'Ready Player One’ come true. Living in the OASIS can be awesome and fulfilling. In this talk I will be diving into the seductive allure of augmented reality, explore the profound implications of living in a digital world, and unpack the potential dangers of losing ourselves in virtual escapes.
I’m a 14 year old Chinese student with a deep love for technology. I’ve always believed in change, and growing up I’ve always loved the “new things”. From coding lego robots, to creating short pieces of useless code, I find joy and a sense of accomplishment in these seemingly useless things. My personal philosophy in the words of Wayne Dyer and something I live by is "Do it now; the future is promised to no one." This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
