N-SEAL, acid soluble lost circulation material, is specially formulated extrusion spun mineral fiber. Due to its solubility in weak acids, N-SEAL is easily removed from production zones.
N-SEAL can be used as an additive mixed directly into the drilling fluid or as a pill or slug. The major benefit of using N-SEAL is that it can be used whilst drilling ahead unlike conventional LCM materials like drill paper which have a tendency to block jets.
