Airplane Spin Recoveries - Standard vs Emergency Procedures in the Pitts

This video is intended to inform aerobatic pilots on the differences between a normal proactive spin recovery vs emergency recovery.

The normal proactive recovery demonstrated is the PARE (POWER= off, AILERONS=neutral, RUDDER=opposite, ELEVATOR=forward if upright or backward if inverted)

Emergency procedures demonstrated are the Beggs (power off, hands off, opposite rudder) and the Finagin (power off, controls neutral, wait for dive to reach 100 mph, 4G pull to level flight).
