2010 Subaru Forester (3rd Gen) - Oil Change

In this video I will be changing the oil in my 2010 Subaru Forester.
This is a 3rd generation model, which ran from 2009-2013.
Therefore, this video will apply to any Forester that is a 3rd generation model.

Now, to be transparent, I made a huge mistake while doing this oil change. That being said, I used it as an opportunity to address how to deal with mistakes.

One pointer, keep the oil pan bolt removed until after removing your oil filter. It will ensure you’ve drained most all oil from the vehicle.
Also, start the engine and recheck your oil level once complete.
