A chargeback, also referred to as a payment dispute, occurs when a cardholder questions a transaction and asks their card-issuing bank to reverse it. When a chargeback happens, the
disputed funds are held from the business until the card issuer works things out and decides what to do. If the bank rules against you, those funds are returned to the cardholder and you
are charged and added $15.00 Fee with Shopify.

Here is the evidence you need in order to dispute a claim on a order placed on your website:
Tracking number
Shipping policy
Return policy
Item description

Make sure you have signature confirmation and add USPS (or your preferred shipper) insurance to cover the cost of the entire order in case the item is lost or stolen.

Common Causes of Chargebacks:
Fraudulent transactions
Shipping, delivery, or pricing issues
Credit not processed
Dissatisfaction with product or service
