At the Las Vegas Reopen, we headed to Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse at the Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip, which recently had its grand opening.

Bugsy and Meyer’s Steakhouse is one of the most highly anticipated new Las Vegas restaurants in 2020 and the food, atmosphere, and service did not disappoint. Bugsy & Meyer’s head Chef Lamar Moore recently won the Vegas Chef Prizefight on the Food Network. While not inexpensive, we highly recommend enjoying an amazing night at Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse at the Flamingo Las Vegas during your next visit to the Las Vegas Strip in 2020.
Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse aims to transport guests back to the Flamingo Hotel’s vintage roots while delivering a modern Las Vegas steakhouse experience. Guests enter Bugsy & Meyer’s through a “bakery” front end façade and past the dry aged meat cooler, giving the illusion of discreetly entering through the back of the restaurant as many did in the past – Goodfellas style. Once inside, Bugsy & Meyer’s restaurant offers a variety of atmospheres, including the main bar, patio dining, the main dining room, three private dining rooms and a raw bar. In addition, tucked away past the dining room is the speakeasy, The Count Room, serving cocktails and small plates in an intimate setting.
After his win on Food Network’s Vegas Chef Prizefight, Chef Lamar Moore is now the Head Chef of Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse. Chef Lamar Moore grew up cooking alongside his grandmother and went on to receive a degree in Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu in Chicago.
