Ruth Etting - It All Depends on You (1927)

Charted at #8 in 1927. Also #2 for Paul Whiteman in 1927, #17 for Ben Bernie in 1927, and #68 for Jerry Lewis in April 1957. Al Jolson sang this song in "The Singing Fool", and also recorded it in the 1940's. He had earlier performed it on stage. Recorded February 28, 1927. Written by Ray Henderson, Buddy DeSylva and Lew Brown.

Other versions include recordings by Shirley Bassey, Nat King Cole, Doris Day, Craig Douglas, the Four Freshmen, Connie Francis, Harry James, Jerry Lewis, Peggy King, Gordon MacRae, Jaye P. Morgan, Patti Page, Johnnie Ray, Dinah Shore, Frank Sinatra, Whispering Jack Smith, Jerry Vale, Annette Hanshaw, Faron Young and others.

The other side of the record is "Sam, the Old Accordian Man", which was also a hit.
