ZAGREB 🇭🇷 Medvedgrad castle hike | Vero and Justin (Croatia travel vlog video)

Watch in 4K ✧ In this February 2020 Croatia travel vlog, we hiked up Zagreb's mountain to see a 13th century old castle. Who knew there was a medieval castle 20 minutes from downtown Zagreb?

This morning we dropped off our rental car that we still had from our Istria road trip, and headed straight from the airport to the Medvednica mountain. Instead of hiking up trail 14, we decided to take trail 12 which leads you to the Medvedgrad castle! Although it’s under construction until October 2020, you can still get super close to it from the outside. Justin found a hole in the fence and decided to explore further, he was able to see amazing views of Zagreb! It’s a steep hike, but a quick one. Definitely worth doing in the morning, while still being able to enjoy your afternoon.
