There are times, even buses can have their own relatable sabaw moments. Here is one such interesting incident-
We were on the way to Reckongpeo while returning from Chitkul. Our bus halted at Sangla and the bus driver was probably focusing too much on the road as what is needed while driving on Himalayan treacherous roads. And he forgot about the one person he needed the most to help him run the bus - the bus conductor. After driving for many kms, the driver suddenly remembered about the conductor and even asked the passengers about his whereabouts. At this time neither the bus could be reversed as road was very narrow nor the driver could have taken the bus all the way to Karcham (as Karcham was still 14km from that place).

He took a step ahead and he started taking a U-turn. This was very risky as few months ago a taxi fell down while reversing on this same road. But salute to these pahadi drivers who drive on these treacherous roads daily and drop every passenger safely back to their destination. Some might call it a brainless act, but this is what these drivers do on a daily basis. He didn't have any option rather than taking that risk.
