How to Add a Joint account holder in SoFi Money

Adding a joint account holder to your SoFi Money account is a feature designed to help you and a trusted partner share financial responsibilities in one centralized account. SoFi allows you to invite another person to join your account, giving both of you access to deposit funds, make payments, and manage shared financial goals. The process is secure and handled entirely within the SoFi app.

To begin, open the SoFi Money app on your mobile device. If you’re not already logged in, tap on the “Log In” button and enter your account credentials. Once you’re in the app, navigate to your account dashboard.

From the main screen, tap on the “More” or “Account Details” option, typically found in the menu or account management section. Look for an option labeled “Add Joint Account Holder” or something similar. Tap on it to begin the invitation process.

You’ll be prompted to enter the email address of the person you wish to invite. That individual must not already have a joint SoFi Money account. Once the invitation is sent, the person will receive an email containing a link to apply for joint account access. They will need to complete a short application and identity verification process to ensure compliance with banking regulations.
