Ever had to remove a toilet just to check your pipes? 😅 In this sewer inspection, we had to get creative when the cleanout cap wouldn’t budge! From PVC to cast iron to clay, the journey was full of surprises. 🚽

What did we find? A partial collapse in the clay pipe just outside the basement wall, and some soil around the pipe! 😬 The camera barely made it past the collapse before running into what looks like the earth itself! 🌍

💡 Recommendations:

Repair the collapsed clay pipe and the cast-to-clay connection.
Consider adding an exterior cleanout for easier maintenance and future inspections.
After repairs, scope the rest of the line to ensure it’s in good shape all the way to the city main.
