US History Primary Sources #1

First in a series of readings of primary sources from a multi-volume set called American History Told by Contemporaries, edited by Albert Bushnell Hart in 1897 (and as such, out of copyright). This one is from an 1890 book about "Norse Discoveries of Greenland and Wineland the Good", about a Norse settlement called "Vinland" that was long thought to be just a patriotic myth.
