HOW TO MAKE BACON - BACON RECIPE - In this video recipe I will show you how to make bacon. Yes home made bacon from scratch.

Ingredients
When you use Pink Salt (insta cure #1) (6,25% nitrite)
1,5 kilo pork belly
45 gram seasalt
22,5 gram sugar
5 gram Pink Salt

When you use Colorozo Salt (0,6% nitrite)
1,5 kilo pork belly
50 gram Colorozo salt
22,5 gram sugar

How to make bacon:
- Mix the salt and sugar
- Rub the pork belly with the cure
- Place the pork belly in a vacuum bag or a zip lock bag
- Put the bag in the fridge and let it cure for 7 days
- Flip the bag every other day
- After 7 days rinse the pork belly with cold water
- Smoke the pork belly with apple wood at 180 degrees Celsius or 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Let the bacon cool down (okay, you can have a little taste test ;) )
- Slice and for any purpose you like
