1.A special type of Amputation
surgical technique that converts a forearm stump into a pincer mechanism
Mechanism: The Pronator teres muscle flexes the elbow and pronates the forearm
2.1917:German army surgeon Hermann Krukenberg
3.Volar and dorsal skin flaps raised
4.Radial and Ulnar vessels dissected & Ligated distally at Wrist
5.Interosseus membrane opened
6.Both Radius and Ulna separated &Two Foram stumps are formed
7.Closure of Both Stumps
