The James Burn EX380 is a high speed, high volume, automatic punch. It’s the fastest punch on the market today!!!

The EX380 runs up to 8,400 cycles per hour and punches 120,000 sheets per hour. That equals one million sheets in an eight hour shift. It will handle sheet sizes from a 4-1/4" x 3-7/8" to a max size of 15" x 15". For larger width applications, the Lhermite EX610 will handle widths up to 24" wide.

The punching dies for the EX380 are heavy duty, they are manufactured using the highest quality tempered tool steel. Die changes are quick and easy. They feature guide posts for perfect alignment, quick pin access, and flanged holes to help clear out waste and add longer life.

Dies are available in a wide range of punching patterns and custom dies can be manufactured. Dies can also be re-sharpened multiple times to extend the life of the die.

The EX380 offers continuous paper loading which increases productivity without stopping the machine. It will run virtually any type of stock for practically any application.

The EX380 picks sheets from the top of the stack and uses transport belts to move the stock into the punching die. This unique design helps prevent jamming and the separator beak picks lifts of paper, even thicker stocks, without damaging the edge.

The EX380 has automatic micro adjustment to set paper jogging stops that provide an accurate paper-to-hole registration.

The EX380 has an optional tabbing device available for punching collated tabs into books.

A turnover drum assures that pre-collated documents are kept in perfect order.

Delivery options include:
A stacking jogger.
Or the popular variable speed conveyor which offers continuous delivery of punched sheets and shingles each lift as they exit the turnover drum.

The EX380 comes with two beak assemblies. The Standard beak is designed for standard paper stocks. And the separator beak is designed for heavy and mixed stock.

The EX380 also offers an easy to use paper lift thickness adjustment.

Speed control allows the operator to adjust the machine speed on the fly for a variety of paper stocks.
