Who Was The First Person to Die in a Car Crash?

Who was the first person due to due to a collision with an automobile? It's a slightly morbid topic and the sort of unwanted title that can come to define the entirety of someone's life on earth. As we find out though, the first person due die in a car accident was so much more than merely a footnote in the history of automobiles.
