Is a War Between Russia & Ukraine Imminent?

With the ongoing tensions between Russia and Ukraine, many western capitals wonder whether Russia will invade Ukraine. This comes on the heels of Russia’s huge military exercises in Crimea and along the border with Ukraine this week. Russia has deployed more than 100,000 troops — backed by heavy armor, airpower, and naval units in the Black Sea — in what many feared was a prelude to an invasion of Ukraine. Then suddenly, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced he would pull back those troops.
