WHAT IS V-LASE®?
V-Lase® is a new photothermal laser platform, non-surgical, 15 minute, no-downtime procedure that is a pain-free alternative to traditional surgery for the treatment of vulvovaginal atrophy which can restore the feel and performance of women’s intimate life. HOW DOES V-LASE® WORK?

The V-Lase procedure consists of the intravaginal insertion of a specially designed probe connected to a laser. The probe is slowly rotated clockwise 360° while the laser is fired at various locations inside the vaginal canal. Dr. Airan received her medical degree at Northwestern University. She was awarded a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Scholarship at the National Institutes of Health which is one of a few prestigious fellowships awarded in the United States.

After completing a one year Internship at the University of Chicago and a Dermatology residency at UCLA, Dr. Airan pursued her postdoctoral training with a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at Washington University.
