Edit: After some investigating, looks like some hum occurs when the strings aren't being touched. It's slight, and I couldn't notice it through the speaker of my amp. Rating still stands.

Hey everyone! Today we're reviewing the Sire U5 short scale bass, one of the latest and greatest offerings from Sire. This thing ticks all the boxes and has a price tag that will make you do a double take. Coming in at $500, Sire is coming in swinging and taking no prisoners.
