Cruisin for a Bluesin Sax Soli
My transcription of the sax soli from Andy Weiner's "Cruisin for a Bluesin", as played by Maynard Ferguson and the Big Bop Nouveau Band. There is an arrangement out there by Pete Blair, but it's for full big band and it also cuts out about a minute of the sax soli. When it was played by MF band it was a four-piece sax section, SATB at the soli bit.
