Hope & Trauma | Dr. Yasser Abu Jamei

Khalil Center welcomes Dr. Yasser Abu-Jamei for a presentation on the mental health realities of Palestine resulting from the decades long occupation.

Dr. Yasser Abu-Jamei, a psychiatrist, is the Director General of the Gaza Community Mental Health Programme in the Gaza Strip. He holds degrees from universities in the UK, Germany, Lithuania and Gaza and has received honors for his work developing the mental health sector in the Gaza Strip.
