We need to lead to leave - not hang around past our prime
Leaders #1 job is to train up other leaders. We are not indispensable. The final act of great leadership is to pass the baton to others. Lead to leave not to stay on after you have lost your passion and run out of gas. We do more damage by staying too long rather than leaving too soon.
