Last summer, Emmanuel Acho went viral with his "Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man" YouTube series, garnering millions of views and the unexpected support of both Matthew McConaughey and Oprah – who helped turned the series into a New York Times best-selling book of the same name. The former NFL player explained how growing up in two different cultures gave him a better perspective on how to improve race relations, and why it was imperative for him to create a young adult version of his book, “Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Boy.”
