In 1979, the Philadelphia Flyers and Los Angeles Kings set 10 NHL records for a penalty-laden, scrum-filled game. The star of the show was Randy Holt - or at least for the first period. While setting a seemingly unbeatable NHL record for most penalty minutes for one player in one period, his night was over.
